Gas Safety Task Force
The Gas Safety Task Force (GSTF) is a residential group of volunteers who, since 2018, have met independently and with PG&E, CPUC, and City of Lafayette. The purpose of the GSTF is to provide leadership while working with PG&E and the CPUC to understand how gas safety projects are evaluated and implemented within the City of Lafayette. Of particular concern are the 11 miles of gas transmission pipelines, shut-off valves, testing schedules, exposed pipelines, and PG&E transparency.
